I'll get up at 5am for this. Sunrise at Angkor Wat

Paola & I already did the small loop of Siem Reap's temples. We purposely skipped Angkor Wat with the intention of exploring it after watching sunrise there. Very good plan. I think I got up at around 4am just to be ready to leave by 5am. It was still dark outside. Our tuktuk driver was already waiting for us.We jumped in the back & sped off in the chilly morning.
Highlights: I liked the hot coffee & croissant they were selling outside. It was also memorable trying to squeeze through the crazy crowd of people gathered to take pics of Angkor Wat.

When: We were there late February, 2012. It was very nice & cool in the morning. Super dark also. When you get to the temple, buy your hot coffee & make a run to reserve your spot (by the pond) for the sunrise
Location: Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Cambodia
Cost: The temple admission fee costs $40 for 3 days. I thought 2 days was enough for me. We went to visit the little circuit & bigger circuit.
Trip Report: It was nice. Make sure you have a spot for picture taking. Also, they have strict dress codes when entering the temple. They did not let Paola in because she was wearing shorts. The views are nice from the temple at the top. Its very good architecture.
